Hammed up. Predictable and sad. It was the overreactions from cast members that killed me. The predictable 'shock' reactions to seeing a dead body and the very predictable, inane responses to Germans doing anything. All I can say is it was hammed up spectacularly! Just bad acting all round except maybe the guy who played the 'corporal'.
