Hated it. Retreads what was done in the novel and movie to the point where it's not scary, adds plot elements that make the mythos more confusing, and resolves the conflict with what is pretty much pure luck. And the damsel-in-distress saves herself off-screen.

Terrible dialogue, terrible character development, terrible pacing, just terrible.

Better than the original, but otherwise forgettable.

Revealed the monster within the first 10 minutes. Gave us the monsters backstory within the first half an hour. No real reason to keep watching after that.

Complete garbage fire. Scenes that make no sense and don't tie in to the rest of the story.

Much better than I thought it would be, until the end, when it tried to squeeze too many iconic moments from the original Evil Dead AND Evil Dead 2, and none of it made any sense.
