Superman was mesmerizing from start to finish. The CGI was so good. A lot of people expected the vfx to be bad from seeing it in the trailers and i was one of them too, but i was really surprised when i saw it the theater. Corenswet's performance and donning the cape of Superman was truly a symbol of hope. The theme song and score was amazing and beautiful, it was used with perfect timing and instruments. The movie was stuffed but didn't feel like a mess. Mr. Terrific has also a phenomenal introduction in the new DCU. I really need a spin off focused on him. Rachel brosnahan suits perfectly for the role of Lois Lane and Superman's supporter. And oh my god, Nicolas Hoult absolutely cooked with Lex Luthor, i was shocked by the amount of hate he has for Superman. Krypto was fun and sometimes irritating. Guy Gardener was funny too and nathan fillon played the role with devotion. Hawk girl didn't have much screentime but was very charming. Jimmy Olsen has his nice moments too. There were many references of DC universe being already established for 300 years like James Gunn said. I just had one problem that superman might be a bit too weak, maybe because he's just into 3 years of being superman but he gotta gain experience and know how to use his Kryptonian strength. In the end, i feel like there's a lot to explore with every main character of the movie, specially Kal El. DC Studios kicks off with a banger undoubtedly thanks to James Gunn and there's lot of potential and hope for it.
