Predictable North vs South with political, patriarchical tropes. The plot based on a murder explained through naughty, power driven people who plaster smiles over severly damaged egos. There's a melange of actors just barely able to keep my attention for the moments I want to zone out. I'll be finishing season 1, not likely to look forward to a second.
