Episode 1 is an incredibly slow start that paves the way for an incredibly interesting and visceral payoff that will make you come back to try and understand the motivations of certain characters. Cast is brilliant and animation is wonderful. Dialogue can be a bit wooden and sometimes feels it's playing for a laugh that isn't there, but on the whole, a very real take on what a superhero world would look like in real life. It's like The Boys' little cousin whose just hit puberty. Oh. Definitely not for kids.
