You can tell a lot of the reviews on here are from Conservative Americans. Loads of complaints of sex scenes and gayness.......from a series based on Rome. Anyway, this was garbage. The writing, to which many have alluded, was absolutely terrible, but the acting was worse. I've never seen a series where I felt I could do a better job acting in a scene, but here we are. The script is deplorable and actually renders scenes laughable. Sara Martins is the best thing about it. She's gorgeous and formidable. Her and Iwan Rheon deserve a lot better than this. Hopkins is barely in it, so deserves whatever he was paid to promote this turkey.
