Film critics will love "Roma", which your everyday audience will never begin to understand nor appreciate. Critics tend to write for each other, making sure they don't fall too much out of line with their peers. So I suppose that one bad review will likely lead to another which will lead to another. I'm your everyday audience and I did read the book years ago so I made sure I saw the film. For anyone who hadn't read the book, listening carefully helps.me? I liked it...a lot.
