I was very skeptical of this TV show when it was starting but as a Lotr fan I have been very impressed with the characters, dialogue, music, etc. I know that there are a lot of complaints about how awful this show is, but I gotta be honest when you watch it with an open mind you will love it. Some say it’s slow (so was fellowship of the ring and look how that turned out). Some say this or that and I would say this, each week there are 25 million people watching (now again, that is based on some articles I have read and that could have gone up or down, I don’t know); rotten tomatoes has it rated at 84 % overall (audience score is bad not sure why). not many TV shows get above the 80% so that is a big deal! Now don’t get me wrong, the first two episodes are slow and I get that, but you have to build something and that has happened over the last four episodes (it also takes time). You also have to understand that there are going to be five total seasons, they’re not just going to give everything all at once. Like I said go in with an open mind, sure you’re gonna have questions and that’s OK. I’m not saying you’re gonna love it, I did, but that’s also because I’m a huge Lord of the rings, Star Wars, Marvel, etc. fan. again you may not agree with this review and that’s OK, but going in with an open mind, you decide. Give it some time, let them develop the seasons and it’s gonna be amazing. Don’t believe me, ask the director and cast because that’s what they said at comic con! I believe them so let’s buckle up for an epic season finale.
