Horrible!!! Brought my child thinking this would be a great movie- depressing all the way through... one tragic thing after another.. some examples so SPOLIER ALERT if you want to stop reading: To breakdown some of the depressing storyline- dog is born a stray, her mother gets taken away, found a home but she’s not even allowed there to begin with, animal control is after her, she’s given to another family without understanding, (at this point my daughter said the doggy is so sad) and this is only 10 mins into the movie...! Runs away, then a bobcat mother gets shot by hunters and leaves her baby bobcat abandoned.. on top of everything right! An avalanche buries a man - so his dog and the movie dog ‘Bella’ save him but later in the plot he doesn’t even want his dog back, could care less about them saving his life.. really sad reaction to see.. oh then a homeless man ties up Bella to get better donations with him.. then goes to the woods and chains her up.. and then he.... DIES!!!! She can’t get to food or water.. eventually gets away, chased by wolves, gets back with bobcat friend but then has to say goodbye.. (I told my daughter it’s ok she can come visit her again since they were so close to home by now)... but then Bella said ‘this is the very last time I’ll ever see you”.. !! 😔 gawd.. goes home but her humans don’t live there anymore.. gawd again.. gets hit by car! Really?! Finds her human so it’s happy for literally 5 seconds, then animal control shows up to take her away and arrest anyone that tries to stop them.. at this point we left.. sounded like the main animal control officer was going to let her be but just an unneeded downer at what was supposed to be a happy time.. I was waiting for the ending to end on a high note and some closure to the movie.. alas they ruined that as well. Unfortunately I had to give my daughter games to play with during the movie because she was ready to go home.. Seriously too much with this movie.. nothing realistic or happy-go-lucky. Do not waste your time!!
