Kim Irene Anderson

I love this book. It's so well written. The characters are both complex and endearing and quirky. I've read the City Series more than once. I sometimes listen while doing my physical therapy walk, and suddenly I'm laughing, and the people in my vicinity just stare. The humor is just so natural and real. Silvi's desire to get past her abandonment issues makes you love her even when she's putting on her tough "don't mess with me" veneer. I love that she's found a stray kitty who's got abandonment issues as well.
