My sister had read the book and convinced me to watch it with her. She said she was crying within the first few pages. I, usually all in for a good healthy cry, told her I was not at all feeling like I could cry right now. I kid you not, 45 seconds into the movie the tears were streaming. This movie was beautiful. If you have ever experienced the love and heartbreak of an aging dog you will connect immediately and stay enraptured by Enzo’s story the whole way through. The ending left me smiling, heart-warmed, and admittedly with a few more sappy tears streaming. Loved it and can’t wait to watch it again in a few years for another healthy cry.
