My wife and I often choose a movie based on actors and/or reviews. With Amy Schumer and decent reviews we tried it. Both of us were in shock from the beginning wondering when this movie would become interesting and entertaining. With the entire movie set in a disgusting nearly empty NY apartment, it was depressing. The human interactions of this family was a little hard to follow and definitely bizarre. We couldn’t wait for it to end. This and last nights movie “Boiling Point” has made my wife and I realize there are many people who must see movies very different from us. Just read how extreme the reviews are from 1-5 star rating. If you watch/watched The Humans and enjoyed it I’m glad for you. For us it was 2 hours completely wasted.
