Top Gun has always been my favourite film. It made me want to be a fighter pilot before girls could do that sort of thing...just as well I couldn't, as poor vision and depth perception would have counted me out anyway. But I've watched the original multiple times over the years and always found the flight scenes exhilarating and Goose's death tearjerking. So I was dying, pre pandemic to see the sequel, was devastated when it was delayed but the 36 yr wait was well worth it. It has everything the original has and more. The flight scenes are incredible. There's nostalgia laughs and tears and there's Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer,. What morecould we want?
