I really enjoyed this movie and appreciated the interpretation characters and storyline. Having read the early comics of this band of new mutants and given the abstract powers/abilities of some of the member, the framing and setting of the story worked for me. I think the "horror" label does the film a disservice. This did not need to be a 2-3hr action extravaganza with paced and scheduled battles like other films. This was a great set up that made me want to see more. I truly enjoyed the presentation of Lockheed. Sit back and enjoy!
