I have no idea why this is sitting at 2.9 stars. It’s so rare that a prequel or sequel will get it right but this movie goes above and beyond. It takes the thrilling and intense storyline of the first 2 movies and instead of delivering the same repetitive story it gives us an emotionally developed and powerful story that explores the simplicities of human nature and death in the middle of chaos. If you’re reading the one star reviews to decide to go see this movie, be aware that some people wanted this to be a carbon copy of the first two movies and typically I would agree that sometimes when you change something good it can mess it up entirely. But this is NOT the case. You will feel the thrill and have your heart twisted at the same time.
