Long story short. Gameplay like fighting, exploring, driving feel pretty good. The visuals are great (playing with a high end comp running on a 3070), the lore of the world feels great, with cool characters and things to see. However besides for an extraordinary few cases the quest writing doesn't feel up to normal CDPR standards, V is not nearly as interesting as Geralt, and that's because you're not really playing your own role in this game, you're playing through V and Johnny's story. The gun rarity and crafting system is pretty lame tbh, especially when there are things like legendary drops with random stats and just an uninteresting way of crafting. The attributes rarely affect anything outside of combat or the governing skill, sometimes affecting dialogue and decision making in a meaningful way other than strong arming or adding something about your technical know-how. The ending I saw was pretty cool at first but after what I thought was the end adds a disappointing scene where they taunted an epic mission in front of me. Gotta play the other endings to see but I feel like the RPG where decision making matters would be better in this game. That being said there is incredible potential for CDPR to make this a great game. Right now though they need to fix this for previous console owners.
