Oof, this is hard. It's great to have a show about autistic people. It's not so great to have that show infantilize them and focus on so many hurtful stereotypes.
I'm an autistic woman, diagnosed in my 20's. I found the first episode so uncomfortable to watch, so hurtful. Honestly, just awful. I really was so excited when I saw this, and then I watched the first episode... ugh. Did you all even consult any autistic people in making this?
For a much better representation of autism (also portrayed by actual autistic people), I really loved Everything's Gonna Be Okay. It's also super funny.
