Every part of this book was a blessing to read and had me in tears at the very end. The way Madaline Miller portrays her characters—Achilles, Patroclus, Briseis, etc. is so captivating. Miller can make you love a character, hanging onto their every action, or absolutely resent them. All I can say is that I wish I could re-read “The Song of Achilles” again for the first time.
