I loved it. I was sceptical going in because of the negative reviews, but I thought Tom Hardy was amazing as Eddie Brock, and that the film did well in involving the Venom standalone storyarc that didn't need a Spiderman to rely on. I'm looking forward to hopefully a sequel.
