Reading "Almond" is like growing up together with Yunjae. The way Yunjae describes his surrounding's expression without telling their emotions explicitly, and how he tries to explain his feelings, building understanding about his condition to us gradually. Hands down to the English translator of this book. The words that contained in the story had big roles in this novel. Considering Yunjae had alexythimia, the narration that came from his pov has a lot of emotions, yet somehow we can still picture Yunjae who couldn't feel them.
