This is a brilliant and heart breaking series that reveals the ridiculous talent of both Fosse and Verdon and the impossible love they shared. I couldn’t get enough and watched portions of it through tears. She loved him so much even when she despised him, and he loved her too, all the while screwing every pretty young thing that caught his eye. I wanted them to be together and knew it was impossible. Except that somehow it wasn’t. I’m a huge fan of Cabaret, Chicago, and All That Jazz. This series flawlessly demonstrates the emotional and physical cost of perfection on stage and screen and the train wreck of a relationship between two absolutely amazing individuals. Both actors were phenomenal. Wow. Just wow.
