I loved this movie ! A man so concerned about his daughter getting married has to accept some things he wishes he didn't have to like Tallulah marrying a ,"Non-greek" .has the whole family come from Greece for the wedding and the idea of accepting two cultures the fear of not knowing how to react or respond and learning how to do things a person wants to do and forgetting the ideas of traditional and automatic expectations. I didn't like the quote,"if Tallulah is getting married, Jesus must have risen from the dead ". That's a bit sacrilegious. But other than that it's a good movie,and I wish that food on the movie could become real. Don't care for Lamb Brains though. Blah. Didn't know there was a 2 or a 3. I know there was an attempt for a tv show which wasn't as good. The first my big fat greek wedding is the one I'm referring to.

Joni . I learned about you through Billy Graham. I read your book before I saw the movie. I reread a book my grandmother had called,"A step Further" and then I read a book that your husband and you wrote called choices. You're inspiration to encourage people not to give up and started an organization for people to find hope based on experiences you had and how you felt and what could be done better . I recall at one of the Rehab centers an employee who made a racist remark at one of the patients and how she sloppily turned one of the patients over on the Stryker frame while the patients were trying to tell her it took two for that. I hope and pray ๐ that didn't kill her ! It shows if you're going to go into the medical field, you need to have a caring attitude. After all of you're experiences the desire to have and live an independent life while still having caretakers is inspirational. You had a beloved furry companion scruffy and it's amazing how you were able to drive a van with assistance. I misunderstood. I thought you went to ca for rehab. You moved out there cause it was warm and the Baltimore winter weather was not good for you're situation although of course you went back to see your family. You had decided you were going to be single for the rest of your life, but God had other plans. It was just the timing and a big strong muscular man who lifted weights and was athletic and was a teacher and coach happened to be at the same church you were a member of and through everything you both have shown what love truly is. I'm am so happy for you both. What an awesome story. Here's to many more wonderful years. You never truly end, for with God you are always getting started! I love you both.

The original naked gun. Where Leslie neilsen forgets to turn off the microphone and goes into the bathroom. The embarrassment on the mayor's face ! And the infamous quote, "The city is being run by baboons !" And then drevin,"Isn't that the fault of the voters?"

How do I love this movie? Let me count the ways. The puns, the satire, the attempts to be funny but serious. I can't believe this was the late great Leslie Neilson's first attempt at comedy and from there ,go on to the Naked Gun series and spy hard which is the satirical version of the opening of the James Bond silhouettes. The love story of a man who can't get over his past and his girlfriend is leaving him and he bores and depresses the passengers in fact I assume this guy is an evil person, but he's beginning to light and set himself on fire , but when the stewardess asks him to come to the cockpit and the evil man says,"go" when he looks at him, he blows out the match, but he still blows up anyway. Due to a lack of food inspection, people are getting sick and Robert stack s character was halirious! Peter Graves giving the mechanic his credit card, the love story like you would see in the old love stories , the soilder gives his girl a watch that doesn't work and the plane acts like a train and Otto pilot! Oh my gosh ! When he's deflating, you might want to have small kids leave the room! Then at the end Otto has a girlfriend and take off in the broken down plane. To those who hate disco will appreciate when Robert Heyes'character crashes into the antena of The local. disco station love disco, but it is funny,"so and so where disco lives forever whack!" And a hum.

This was a time when a movie was a movie there were morals and ethics. There's a bad guy on the loose and Bond is going to do whatever it takes to get him even if it means killing him. There weren't any politics. This was a movie to be enjoyed. Movies aren't like this anymore. Loved the gadgets the special effects. Ahhh...... and Lulu's voice awesome ๐ ๐ ๐

This is the movie that has the car that turns into a submarine ! Richard keel who plays gnaws and bites everything with those steel teeth. Carly Simon's performance on ,"Nobody Does it Better". The James Bond soundtracks were some of the absolute best.
