Terribly disappointing! With so much talent attached I was looking forward to this but after the first 5 episodes I can't take anymore.
It should be an action spy romp but takes itself too seriously for the kitsch fun that could have worked so well for it. Yet completely failed to deliver a well thought through plot, engaging script or well rounded characterisation.
If they weren't going to embrace the daft fun element of the spy genre they really should have put a little more effort into the mystery side. As it is every plot twist advertises itself well in advance and the only suprise is how ridiculously predictable it is.
And as an afterthought what is with the 'artistic' visual choices? Why do we have multiple scenes with the camera rotating, taking a moment to come into focus or with a light glare in the way? If this is supposed to add to the mood or make some kind of statement it fails, just managing to be somewhat annoying.
