As much as I really wanted to like this I feel like the acting and dialogue is severely mid But the CGI is pretty great especially the representation of earth and fire bending However the flaws are quite obvious with the show Most annoyingly they ruined soka as a character as he’s meant to be inherently sexist and flawed as a person however Netflix has seemed to dismiss this in aid of becoming more progressive Also the show seems very rushed and quickly put together feel they should have made 12-15 episodes like the original animated series This becomes most notable in the 1st episode where they try to cram ang and his backstory into one episode whereas in the original series we got gradual flashbacks slowly learning more about ang as a character this kind of ruins the personalised feeling and empathy I have for his character as his past emotion is frequently met with a teaching or allegorical message So sad :,,,(
