Does not follow the source material at all. Whoever tells you otherwise is smoking crack &/or is an industry plant. The show has managed to suck all the suspense, mystery, action, and overall life out of the books. Though it is not all bad, Percy, Mr. D, Chiron, Ares, and Luke to name some of the better actors/characters in the show. Unfortunately this can’t save the God awful writing and production from Disney (nothing new). I’ve now accepted we will never get a faithful and proper adaptation to the story everyone in this community fell in love with so many years ago.
