This is such a beautifully painful film that should be watched by every single person on this planet so that they can finally "get it." The life in these rural villages whose inhabitants depend on drug producing activities is the life of so many places in the world --full of fear and hopelessness, with a few seconds of bliss. And the solution is not a "war on drugs," which for half a century has been a colossal failure that does not help either side of the drug equation. Illegal substances must be legalized and regulated, if we really want to put an end to this senseless violence that affects producing communities as well as consumers and also small dealers all over the world.
