I thought Parasite would be the last movie to absolute blow me away, so It's not often I leave a theater feeling like I've transcended into a better self, yet here we are. Absolutely phenomenal movie. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it. Its absurd but the premise is easy to understand. It's funny, sad, action packed, thought provoking and just brilliant all round. I took offense to an article saying it 'could teach MCU a thing or two about multiverses' (huge MCU fan here) but I take my hat off to the directors and producers. Gotta give some love to the characters, it was hard to choose between who I liked the most, but the mother daughter relationship, the acting, the emotion, the surreal and natural understanding of what a rocky upbringing can bring to a child was just amazing to watch. I cannot stop thinking about the Rock scene! What the hell!?! It will take something special to beat this. A word of warning, if you are not into movies that require a bit of open-minded acceptance, do not watch. Basically, just let it happen 😅
