Warning!!! This movie is mocking God and Christians and here’s why: - The dad was an alcoholic and an abuser and called himself Christian. There’s no such thing as being a bad person and being a Christian if you didn’t repent and they try to normalize that in the movie. Also God says: “Those who are not saved are not children of God.” 1John 3:10 - in the movie the little boy comes to the pastor for help, the pastor did not help him which we can see in a lot of churches someone who supposed to help people just turn their back on their people in need. -Jesus, Holy spirit and God they just smiled at the man saying he needed to forgive the abuser, which I’m sure God wouldn’t act as sadistic as they were all acting and they basically took the guys right to be ANGRY which is a normal human reaction even Jesus got angry at the church!! The whole movie I just saw them as a fraud. Scripture says: “Be angry but do not sin.” The whole movie they had no compassion for the guy, they just kept pushing forgives and that he had to accept it and be okay with it. Plus they tried to give the man a choice between dying and staying in heaven…did the director read the scriptures or is this a subliminal message to suicide? Cause I’m sure God takes being alive serious and choosing to die is a ruge sin! So God wouldn’t ask this question!! GOD BRINGS PEOPLE TO LIFE! HE RENEW US!! Oh Lastly: - The shack is supposed to be the house of Satan, where a sacrifice happened, his own daughter was killed in there SO I TELL YOU! Gods Glory weren’t in that house, Gos would never allow him to keep going there to revisit his suffering. God transforms your life with one touch like Jesus did. God is a merciful Lord and that cabin has a dark meaning that actually represents SATAN!! The angel of darkness! It would never be the house of god. Our God is not a God of Shacks, God use the Bible to say all the time: The House Of God! That’s just a way of making fun of us and making us think God doesnt really care about us. So this movie has a lot of subliminal messages that us as christians have to be careful to what we watch cause the enemy’s job is to distort Gods image by planting the lie with the true together! May the Holy Spirit continue opening our eyes for whats not true and in fact an abomination to his name! May you pray before watching this movie to receive discernment and to have your spiritual eyes opened! Glod Bless you all.
