I have read my fair share of books, with High Fantasy being among my favourites. So to be captivated and swept away is a rare treat.
But this book?
Oh it did so much more than captivate... It consumed me. I was swallowed in whole. To be so utterly anchored into a story mere page in was borderline unsettling, but oh so satisfying.
This book series is at the very top of my recommendation list to anyone that will listen. The artwork in the Anniversary Edition adds soul to an already soulful story.
An absolute must for any book lover

Not much more to say than has already been said, but goodness me, what a failure of a film. Trying so hard to tick all the woke boxes, and effectively ruining what had the potential to be a fantastic movie.
From unrealistic choices, poor development and horrendous inaccuracies, this movie has made it onto my list of deepest regrets.

As someone who has always favoured the MCU over the DCEU, this movie legitimately levels the playing field. The 4hour runtime is daunting at first, but it is 4 hours of pure bliss. Snyder gave the fans everything they wanted, and made the DCEU what it should have been from the start.
Here's to hoping he has an influence on all DCEU story lines going forward
