I just watched few episodes of this series and found out nothing extraordinarily paranormal at all, being honest you have to make it feel real than just keep buzzing similar events in every next level of investigation and mentioning the spirits names from radio frequencies which you already known about from the history & dates "one guy mentioned that he studies dates & events before jumping into investigation"... what a joke!
