This should be a MUST read for transitioning service men and women - and organizations that hire veterans. Proper preparation to leave service is going to be different for everyone. Col Ted Studdard details his journey in this book, and it is spot on with the feeling service members get when entering the civilian work force. Transition assistance courses are great, but there is nothing that compares to mentorship to help veterans acclimate to their new position/organization.
