I had high expectations for this movie, and after the first 20 minutes I thought I was watching a comedy. Sadly it never let up and the whole movie turned into a joke. Christian Bale was amazing but the tone of the comedy overrode his characters painful origin story. I was highly highly disappointed with Zeus. Kids come to see Marvel movies to see their favorite super hero beat up bad guys and win. Not to hear about orgies and see a grown man butt cheeks. I found that very distasteful and pointless to include that in a movie that children come to see.

I wish I could give this movie 0 stars. It had more plot holes than a Mississippi dirt road. I walked out of my own house because this movie was so bad. I don't want to spoil anything but the plot twist was super predictable and fell flat. Save your time and money. Well the only good thing about this movie is Janelle Monae (super beautiful).
