Hands down one of THE best shows I've ever watched, and will rewatch over and over! I started watching it with 0 expectations because I know how underwhelming some horror series tend to be. Considering that I am a HUGE Stephen King fan, I feel the bar is set very high with how I critique genuinely respectable and perfected horror. Supernatural is a multi-faceted series that encompasses family bonds and the depths that love can take you to, wrapped inside a thrilling, drama with comedy and plain old classic multilayered horror that pushes the bounds of viewer's imagination. Supernatural addresses the questions many of us ask ourselves during periods of challenged faith as we witness the real world filled with the ever ongoing battle of good versus evil- Is there a God that cares about the state of our world? What does the true face of evil look like? Are we strong enough to never succumb to temptation and if not can we ever truly accomplish salvation and redemption? More importantly, what truly lies await in the darkness of the souless; the darkeness from which no one is exempt? This show seriously has EVERYTHING!!
