Ghost written by Kath McGurl. A lot of misinformation about this book it’s not based on Millie Bobby Brown’s Gran was only 4 in 1943 & wasn’t in the Bethnal Green Tube Disaster. The book itself is a bore. One for the Millie Bobby Brown fans who want to blindly support. Capitalising on her name like her skincare line that she couldn’t even use in her demo.

I’d summarise this as the White Lotus of books you’re on a journey you think the suspense is building towards something just for it to end & you realise there was no payoff. Except White Lotus has the advantage of beautiful filmography to look at. I have fallen victim to booktok purchased this believing the hype a hardcover no less as ‘paperback isn’t out yet’ lugged it around on holiday to find little plot & predictable ending.

Poorly written dribble. Samantha is 17 years older than her half sibling Meghan who grew up in an entirely different household. It’s very odd for Samantha to be comparing a woman she barely knows to one she’s never met (Catherine). Perhaps invest your time in repairing your relationships with your 3 estranged children instead of this obsession with Meghan.
