I feel incompitent in describing the book the way it deserves.
While in the first hundred pages, I thought maybe I've picked up the wrong book, it was extensive yet seemed a little boring since it mostly circled around the life of two children. Ofcourse it was too early to derive anything, and one doesn't have the faintest idea of who these children will turn out to be!
I was hooked before I barely read half of the book.
Finished it now, writing this review with teary eyes..
I am in love with the characters, and for many reasons I'd want to keep Owen Meany and Johnny Wheelwright always in my heart.
The end for me was severe, nerve wrecking and heart breaking. My faith in humanity has been questioned and restored.
I am terribly in love, and utterly sad having finished this book.
But I know I'll keep coming back to it!
Seriously, one of the best books of all time...
