Watching King Kong starring Loki, Nick Fury, Wreck-It Ralph, Sully, and Captain Marvel. And boy was this movie a fun ride! The film stars Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Toby Kebbell, John C. Riley, John Goodman, and Brie Larson. The plot is that photographer Bill Randa(Goodman[Carl Denham equivalent]) funds an expedition to an island in the south pacific. With the help of former British military officer, James Conrad(Hiddleston[Jack Driscoll equivalent]) war photographer Mason Weaver(Larson[Ann Darrow equivalent]) and Vietnam soldiers, Colonel Preston Packard(Jackson) and Major Jack Chapman(Kebbell), they make it to the island and drop bombs, only to be attacked by a 100-foot gorilla known as Kong. The crew is split up causing danger between both crews. Including giant spiders, giant animals, and of course, Kong, the king of the island. Conrad, Weaver, and other members run into Hank Morrow(Riley), who tells them about Kong and the Skull Crawlers, leading to an action-packed escape off of Skull Island. THIS MOVIE IS AMAZING! Great cast, great story, and great action. This is no doubt the best Kong film ever next to the original and the 2005 remake. My favorite character is probably Morrow because he is so funny. This is also the film that will lead up to Godzilla Vs Kong in 2020. This film is a great example of an action film, and I fully recommend it! 10/10
