I thought that the acting, overall, was bland and slow. I expected more from Martin Lawrence and John Malkovich, but I think they were uninspired and horribly directed. Melissa Roxburgh was beyond cringe. She couldn't convince corn to like butter. She might as well head to the Hallmark Channel and try a slow romance over there, because she brought zero acting talent or energy to this movie. It seems that more time and talent was spent on the elaborate costumes for the victims, and the artwork that portrayed them, than onanything else. The storyline had substance, but the dialogue missed, and was delivered slugishly. If you make it through one showing of Mindcage, I can assure you that you wont be watching itva second time.
