I think the actor sanjeev kumar,syed jafari , amjad khan and shabana azami did a pretty good job in their character showing perfection at every scene . Also i appreciate the voiceover by amitabh bachchan as it was delivered with extravagant expressions and also the music by birju maharaj was very nice as a tabla player i genuinely like the starting tabla beats that acted as the background music when the credits rolled. If you will ever whole heartedly understand this film you will never waste your time in addictions . I genuinely like the little humour and sarcasm of this film . Its a true masterpeice and should be sent for the oscars . The character of sanjeev kumar was very nicely potrayed in spite of requiring a little more efforts because of the shrewdness it contained. Also the character potrayel by amjad khan was very nice . The little animation that is shown in the picture is an actual good example for oxymoron. The film may feel mundane for some people but the true lovers of acting and cinema will always feel for it . At last i just want to appreciate the genius of the late director satyajit ray and the brilliant story written by munshi premchand . Love this film
