Being of hawaiian descent and having lived there as well im enjoying the show it has its good moments . And is enjoyable to watch. Some reviews here are a little harsh imo.i Love the unknown actors and that sone are locals .. .. its not epic but its about time we get a show featuring hawaii. But as they say the non locals as well as politics involved in mainstream tv probably wont let this show continue..but i have hope. As other locals have said it realistic To a piint and not all flash. The hawaii 5 0 remake was fun because they had a lot of local things, actors,extras !and things native to hawaii. It would be nice to have a show with fellow islanders ir asians in general to have a show to identify with and be proud of. I can hear the pidgin accents ahaha makes miss home .
