I started out iffy about this show. I was unsure about some of the casting and characters. I felt like it was being taken in a direction that was doomed for failure but after about 3 episodes I was drawn in. After that, it started to fall together and the last 3 episodes are very exciting to see where it all comes to a head and where the story reaches it's resting place for the first season leaving much excitement for what has been learned and what is still to come. I will admit I was wrong about this show, going in I thought it would be bad and had a bad taste in my mouth about it but came out really enjoying it. Definitely worth watching. Give it a chance and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised as well. ⚠️Warning!!!!⚠️ There are some characters who I wish were cast differently but that's my opinion. To each their own. But all in all it's a good show.

This show is absolutely awesome. Mystery, horror, survival, and supernatural perfectly blended together. It's like Lost mixed with Wayward Pines and a dash of the early walking dead seasons. There are characters who are annoying and infuriating but I wouldn't let it take anything away from the show, it might be their intention. But it's gripping from the very start and keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole first season. The mystery expands and there are a lot of questions still to be answered so I am eagerly awaiting the next season and I wish it would get here as soon as possible.

This show is absolutely wonderful on all fronts. The story is great the characters were cast perfectly the acting is amazing. A fantasy adventure love story with heart break, deception, redemption, renewed love, grit and something for all viewers to like. I'm not the "nerdy" type to be into fantasy but this one is great. Its fantasy steampunk mystery is a great vibe. I have watched the first season a couple times and will rewatch it again before season 2 is released. I will admit I grew up watching Harry Potter and lord of the rings and those two fantasy worlds are as far as it went for me other than stuff of the likes of stranger things which is more science fiction with a dash of fantasy due to the dungeons and dragons references to its storyline but as far as Carnival Row is concerned WATCH IT! You will not regret it. I hope they make many seasons of this show. It has GREAT potential. Give it a chance. I know I was reluctant to watch it and me and my wife love it. It's a breath of fresh air.
