I recently stumbled upon what I consider to be the most deplorable mess Netflix has ever produced. Despite my usual reluctance to comment on shows on the platform, this one compelled me to break my silence. I’m admittedly late to the party on this, but my admiration for the two lead actors convinced me to give it a chance. Now, I genuinely pity them for being roped into portraying such utterly ludicrous characters. I’m praying to God that I can erase this show from my memory so it doesn’t taint my enjoyment of their other projects. The storyline, if you can call it that, stretches absurdity and implausibility to new heights—or lows, rather. I’m at a loss for words to fully capture my disappointment. I’m exhausted by shows like this, with their tired “all men are terrible” trope and their relentless push to hammer that point home. Thank goodness I didn’t shell out money for this disaster! Do yourself a favor and steer clear—you’ll thank me later.
