His story and Coco Chanel’s run parallel in this series. Woman were not allowed to have bank accounts during this era. Her business partners, the Wertheimer brothers, who fled the country before the Nazi reign of terror began, taking with them all the money Coco Chanel had earned.They had stolen her famous Chanel No. 5 formula were Reproducing it in Hoboken , NJ. . That is a whole different war itself. She went to extraordinary measures to assist her nephew get out of a prison camp and help him reunite with his daughter and get the best treatment for TB. She had a plan to take her company back from these greedy men. And so it goes. Meanwhile Christian Dior got a once in a lifetime opportunity to fund his dream. This is a very well made series and the fashion is so beautiful. High sewing indeed‼️❤️
