Perfectly executed spinoff (people please stop saying it is a remake of the movie, it isn't). The characters and storyline are just so on point, finished all 8 episodes in two shifts and want a season 2 already. Well played Guy!

Get past all the reviews of people who read the book, these reviews are typically jaded responses to the show not looking like how they envisioned things in their mind. I think the characters we interesting, the production quality and expression of that era is very well done and it has a good story pace. If you want it to be like the written word read it again and keep your tv off. Reading is better for you anyway.
