This film kept me on edge. It portrayed the dark side of human nature and ambition and power v humility and a call to true Christian service to humanity was a theme I read in this movie. The lowly status of women in a male dominated church hierarchy was evident in the movie - it still is the case in many religions.
Great movie to analyse such complex subjects.
