i’m a normal average viewer that decided to watch the movie because of snyder. i regret it so much. the movie was too predictable, most of the characters weren’t even interesting, a lot of scenes were unnecessary, and while i watched it, i had so many frustration of how dumb the characters were. (SPOILERS ALERT) let’s start off with María Cruz, a character that at first i thought was the most interesting and cool, but on the 2nd act she didn’t do much to help, she was there only to confess her love to the protagonist and then she dies. Maria ended being the most useless character of them all. Kate, she was stressing me out. this character was the reason why everything went downhill because she wanted to save her friend (which ended up dying anyways). she was just there to cause problems and drama. the most annoying character of all. her father-daughter relationship was cliche, nothing we haven’t seen before. just for her being the only survivor that gained money and no injuries. the protagonist, Scott, wasn’t interesting, his backstory was boring and unoriginal. -the main characters were the most boring ones, while the secondary characters were the funniest and most likeable. -the acting wasn’t that good, the cast had potential, but wasted. -the only action scene i genuinely liked was when Chambers (the latina girl) was killing all the zombies, and she died like 3 minutes later. -why the heck was the zombie pregnancy thing included? totally nonsense and unnecessary. -the ending was meh. drama scenes are definitely not for snyder. -comedic scenes were better than the drama ones. but not very original tho. i give this two stars because of the good action scenes, and production. the story line was awful as well as characters’ development. i do not recommend to watch it at all.
