This is a heartrending , gut wrenching exposition of the undiluted evil of Union Carbide in the pursuit of money causing the Bhopal disaster of 1984. The CEO Anderson, died at 92 in a care home in the US after eluding justice for his role in this utterly horrific tragedy. This amazing series captures the triumph of those on the ground, the sheer heroism of those in ‘ordinary’ jobs on the railway and does not shy away from showing the devastation wreaked by one company’s refusal to recognise the importance of care and integrity. Thank God there is some restoration of faith in humanity by the Railway Men as beautifully depicted here.
