i think if you aren't familiar with the franchise, you'd enjoy this much more than i did. the acting was good, but the storytelling fell flat in comparison to the original. part of the thrill with the OG was how random the violence was--- whereas in this film it was an obvious set up. not a bad movie, but not a great one either.
