Downtown Abbey is a classic British series which tells the story of the Crawley's and their estate. The level of aristocracy and charm the characters exhibition is extraordinary. Each character stands out uniquely and make their mark. Through the commentaries, we learn that there has been tremendous research done to get every detail right: the changes in their society, in their status, in their dressing style, in their accessories and even in their hair style. And this change primarily takes place because of the war. The most beautiful thing they brought about was the relationship the lords and ladies had with the butler, chauffeur, footmen and servants. The importance both parties give to each other is just marvellous. Downtown Abbey has not only fascinated us by the infrastructure and vintage cars, but has also taught us the value of relationships. The language is exquisite and we learn what one should and shouldn't do. Thank you, Downton Abbey for enriching our experience.
