Great movie! It teaches moral courage under persecution, and had all the elements of gt Read intrigue, tension, drama, and heroism. But don’t go looking for historical accuracy. It’s not in this movie. Spoiler alert: Bonhoeffer didn’t rail against “religion”. That is a very modern allergy. “Religion” is a perfectly good word. And he did not conspire to assassinate Hitler. He knew very well Christians are not permitted to do that. Go and see this great drama, but read a book (The Cost of Discipleship).
