I'm a great admirer of James Patterson's books but this was possibly the worst one I've ever read! I know that title is, 'The Chef,' but there is far too much description about the food that is prepared by Caleb and his business (do we need to know 365 recipes for breakfast?) which, for me, detracts from the plot...I found myself skipping whole pieces of. 'unnecessary,' prose just to ick up the storyline. End of term report...'Can do better!'
